Working closely with her twin sister, Melanie Rowe(left), Leslie Rowe-Israelson(right) lives and creates in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Educated in glass at Camp Colton and Pilchuck Glass School, she is now a tireless innovator and highly sought after educator. Her techniques focus on sand and mold kiln casting, mosaic and pate de verre.
"I am thrilled with the clean surface of the castings...The mold mix comes off so easily and the pieces need so little cold work! Something about the Uroboros billet, it is wonderfully clean to begin with. The colors flow together...no sharp definition lines. The soft definition is delicious."
